Stamp Club "Saying GoodBye to Sharon"

Our good friend moved to South Carolina.  We had cake and ice cream to share at Stamp club.     The pictures of the roses below are from the front of a 6"X6" book we gave Sharon as a going away gift.  Each stamping friend made a 6"X6" page to help remind Sharon of her friendship.   Sort of like a quilt in a book.

Our Family Home

On Feb. 14, 2011 we discovered that our family home of 36 years was going to be taken down.  This home held many memories for us.  It was the first home that Ronn and I purchased (1970) and we brought all of our beautiful babies home from the hospital to this house.   So many Christmas', So many Birthdays, So many Easters, So many Thanksgivings and So many parties.     This was a home that welcomed everyone.  It was homey and safe.  We loved this home.   However life changes and Ronn and I could not keep up with these 13 rooms and the big garden, so we sold it.    What happened to this home after we left, we do not know, but from what we understand, it could not be repaired after sitting empty for almost 2 years. Here are the pictures our daughter in law, Kristy took of it going down.   Ronn and I just could not watch.  Thank you Kristy for taking these.
