Ok, I am in love.......with this die!!!

I am talking about the Designer Rosette die in our new mini.  The die makes these rosettes (lollies) so easy!  And they are so much fun.  I had a little party in my Studio all by myself while making these.    Below are pictures of the front and the back of them.   This die is on page 28 and is $42.95.   You can make various sizes, depending upon that size you cut the dsp.

Here is the rosette made in full size.  I can see these hanging around a little girl's room.  They are simply gorgeous!

Everyone wants Chocolate!

I am always looking for a way to add chocolate to a project, since I LOVE chocolate.    With this design you score a Top Note ( which has been run through the Big Shot) 1  1/2" in from the points on each of the long sides.  This creates a folded area to place chocolate.  These nuggets are held inside with 2 strips of dsp.   Just decorate on the top side and tie with a ribbon.   What a great little gift for Valentine's Day or any day!

"Things That Go Bump in the Night" Hostess Appreciation Night

You are Special and I appreciate you!

I realize it has been quite a while since I have posted, but I have a good reason.    Thanks to you girls, I sold more in the month of March, 2011 than any other month in my 13 years at SU.   Thank you so much.  I appreciate all of you.

Consequently, I have had no time to post.  But I thought you would like to see what I am up to now.  My church is having a Ladies' Retreat this Friday night.  I wanted to make something for the gals that would be special and make them feel special.   And 4 packs of Ice Cream Parlor DSP and peel-offs are just the thing to do it!  It is so, so SPRING!   The colors are vibrant and bright.   I made  note pad covers, napkin rings and name tags that should brighten our night.    Tell me, what would we do if we did not have the BigShot, dies, dimensionals and bling?   I had so much fun making these items.  And think about it..... literally no cost to me.   I got most of the items I used FREE from SAB.   Thank you SU for this fun time of year and the wonderful items we were able to choose from.      Enjoy!

If you have attended a workshop recently you probably heard me say that page 66 is my favorite page in the new catty.  Well, I couldn't stand it, I had to make one of these flowers.  I used Chocolate Chip textured cardstock, Flower Folds Die, and the Elegant Lines Textured Folder.

A gift for all of my customers.

To help us adjust to the new colors I am giving all of my customers a Color Inventory Chart.  They can keep it in their new catalog to keep track of what they already have in their stamping collection.  We used the new Elegant Lines Impressions Folder for the front and the little I (heart) stamps stamp is from the  Tess set.  If you would like one of these charts and a new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog, just give me a call.

Metal Flashing Pins!

At a recent seminar, a gal commented that she had made a few pins out of pop cans and metal flashing.  Well I just had to try it.  I purchased aluminum coil for flashing (6"X10') for $5.77 at a local hardware.  Then used the Flower Layers #3 and the Island Floral Dies along with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder.  I added assorted buttons and here is the result.  Aren't they adorable?   I am going out to lunch with friends tomorrow and will let each of them choose a pin.  I just love these.  It is very difficult to choose which one is my favorite.
