Shimmer Paints - Celebrated!

 I ran a piece of Not Quite Navy cardstock through the Bigshot using the Perfect Details Texturz Plate and then taking an old Aqua Painter, painted the dots with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint.  Also after stamping with the new set called Delightful Decorations and punching with the new Ornament Punch, I daubed Champagne Mist onto the ornaments.   This card shimmers all over.   Wish it showed in this photo.   This would be so fun to make at a Workshop.  Watch for the new Holiday Mini, it should be coming in the mail soon.

 Serene Snowflakes stamped with Platinum Shimmer Paint onto Night of Navy cardstock.  Added some Silver cardstock to accent.  Oooooo!  Love this paint.

 This is the new Serene Snowflakes set that was stamped with Night of Navy ink onto Night of Navy cardstock.  Then I used a dauber and the new Shimmer Paint in the Frost White to apply directly to the snowflake stamp.  Added our Organza Ribbon and pretty pearls from the Pretties Kit. 

 Here I stamped with Elegant Eggplant, Always Artichoke and More Mustard (my favorite colors).  Then I added Shimmer Paint, Champagne Mist, with an old Aqua Painter onto the stems and veins.  Also I added it to the More Mustard and Elegant Eggplant layered cardstock.  It actually looks like our Shimmery White cardstock but in  the other colors.   Very pretty.

 The Autumn Splendor Set is so gorgeous!  After stamping the images with the new "In Colors" I ran it through the Bigshot using the Perfect Details Texturz Plate.  Then I took the Shimmer Paint, Champagne Mist and daubed it all over the leaves.  I cannot get enough of this Champagne Mist......I think I will buy 2 more bottles, just in case more inspiration happens.  Isn't it great to find something you love and using it over and over?  Yes!!!

 This card is so elegant in real life.....bummer that the new Shimmer Paint from page 27 in the new Holiday Mini does not show up to show you how gorgeous it is. What I did is stamp the maple leaf from Autumn Splendor set with Always Artichoke ink and painted the stems and veins with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint.  I cut 3 of them out and hung them on  our Linen Thread and added beads from the Pretties Kit.   You must try this paint.  I love it .

Dasher

 This card turned out beautiful for the small amount of work it took.  I punched a circle with our 1 3/4" Circle punch and used the hole to dauber Vanilla Craft onto Soft Suede cardstock.  Then I stamped Dasher with Soft Suede ink.  Here comes the fun part.  I ran the cardstock through the Bigshot using the Perfect Details Texturz Plate and layered it onto Bermuda Bay cardstock.  Oh, I first ran Soft Suede Polka dotted ribbon around the bottom.  And attached all to Very Vanilla cardstock.   The Bermuda Bay poinsettia is made by taking a piece of cardstock and your bone folder and burnishing over and over again on both sides so it is soft enough to tear apart.  The two inside parts look like flannel (love this!)   I then used our 5 Petal flower punch and punched 2 flowers and attached together with a Circle Ice Rhinestone brad.  Remember to put the flannel part out and then  crush it all.....I mean even smish it up so it looks crinkly.  Makes a cool flower.  I then attached it to the finished card with a dimensional.    This is my swap for our SUD downline meeting on Saturday.    I think it is lovely!

Medallion

 This is just a prototype for some great things to come with this stamp.  Used Not Quite Navy Ink and stamped it onto Kraft Cardstock.  Added Chunky glitter and some ribbon.  Can't wait to try those new ideas in my head.  I heard through the grapevine that this stamp is the most popular one at this time, according to SU.  It is a must have.

Wreath from page 92 in 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog

 Well, with the help from my granddaughter, Faith, we got the wreath finished and I love it!!!   It was not hard at all and cannot wait to hold a class on this. Look for more information soon.

Cottage Wall

 I discovered something when taking a picture of this card....window sheeting  does not  photograph well.  Atleast not for me.   This is a little 3" X 3" card made purposely to showcase how the Cottage Wall DSP (pg. 160) and the new Flower Fantasy printed window sheeting (pg. 169) go so well together.   Add a tough of  Razzleberry Polka-dotted ribbon and Woo!  Hoo!   Sweet card!
