Pots and Posies

 We made these the month of July at all of my workshops.  How adorable!    What do you think of these two new colors?   Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay were used along with Chocolate Chip cardstock pots and Old Olive leaves.  Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embosssing Folder was used to make a lovely design on the pots.  (pg.195)  Leaves were done with the Little Leaves Sizzlit Die. (pg. 196)  And the lovely flowers were made with the Flower, Daisies #2 Die. (pg. 199)   And don't forget that beautiful 1/2" Polka-Dotted Ribbon in all of the new In Colors.  (pg. 182)  

Just how do I use my Stamp-a-ma-jig?

 A fellow demonstrator, Mary Ann, asked me to explain how to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  For her question she wins a package of Gusseted Envelopes (pg.169).  Congratulations!    Let me begin  by saying I cased this idea from the WOW Video that SU put out from Regionals.  I was such a good example that I had to add it to my blog.  The first thing I did  was stamp this tree from one of my favorite sets, Love As A Tree (pg. 110) using our Saraha Sand Ink. To make it lighter, I stamped off  first.

 Here I colored the tree with our Pastels to give it the beautiful fall colors.  (It does look messy when you finish this part.)   Ah, but wait...it does become pretty.

 Place the Imaging Sheet securely in the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  Align your stamp in the corner, and stamp onto the Imaging Sheet. (Use the textured side of the Imaging Sheet for Craft pads and the smoother side for Classic pads.)

 Position the Imaging Sheet on the paper where you intend to stamp.

 Line the Stamp-a-mi-jig up  with the Imaging Sheet.

 Remove the Imaging Sheet.

Hold the Stamp-a-ma-jig in place, and carefully remove the Imaging Sheet.  Align the stamp of your choice using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, and stamp your image in place.

 Finished design.

Filled with chocolate!
