Shabby Chic Rose

  This photo does not do this card justice.  But you could try the technique and see it in person.  I used Rose Red and Basic Black Cardstock.  The large rose was embossed with black embossing powder.  Then I took an old blender pen and used it to pick up bleach and highlighted parts of the rose.  Then I took the Rose Red Stampin Write Marker and the Regal Rose Stampin Write Marker and added more highlight.  The background was stamped with the large flower (from the Fifth Avenue Floral Set) with bleach.  Layer with Basic Black CS and tie with Black Gingham Ribbon.  So easy and just gorgeous in person.  (Especially if you are a Shabby Chic loving person.)  If you have not used the bleaching technique before, give it a try.   Linda
